Objective Board how-to

Follow this guide to setup your objective board! This display will help you show one school day’s objective, materials, and announcement from a Google Sheet. It can switch from period to period and after 4:00 PM it advances to the next school day; weekends skip to Monday. Copy the template, share it as Viewer, paste the link in the board gear, then fill columns A–I for each school day. Open the live board anytime at caoaplab.org/objective.

Share as Viewer

Share → Anyone with the link → Viewer. Copy the URL.

Paste in the gear

Board gear → paste the sheet link → Save and load.

ADate

School day (M/D/YY). “Week” rows skip.

BDay of the Week

Confirms the date from column A (Mon–Fri).

CLesson Title

Optional lesson name. Not shown on the board.

DSWBAT

Write your objective here; you may also change the title of the column which will change your board's title

EAnnouncement

Announcement on the board.

F–IMaterials

Computer, Whiteboard, Writing Utensil, Course Reader: Yes / No / N/A.

Tabs follow the bell: P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6. Set times in the gear. Click the period label to jump ahead until reload.

D3 is the board heading (SWBAT or whatever you fill in).

On the board: type over title, objective, or announcement (clears on reload). Tap materials. Type size under the gear. Background stays in this browser.
